Fear doesn't stop when you overcome it. It transforms when you learn to play with it.

A retreat built around the one thing most people avoid

Fear is universal. It keeps us alive. But unchecked, it stops us from living.

It gets in the way of love, connection, growth, joy, learning, new experiences, and new insights. If we don't consciously look at how fear operates in our lives, it quietly redirects us towards conformity and repetition. We seek security through certainty and control. That leads to anxiety, anger, or numbness. We disconnect from ourselves, the people around us, and the world.

Reading about fear rarely sticks. Being in it does.

A retreat gives you the best conditions to truly unpack this. Away from your usual day-to-day, in a safe container, with time and space to explore. Surrounded by people doing the same self-research, you create the conditions needed for real transformation.

Two kinds of work. One complete experience.

Yang · Day 2 — The Cliffs

Cliff jumping

Step off the edge and meet the moment before thought catches up with you.

Yang · Day 3 — The Wall

Rock climbing

Trust your body on vertical ground. Learn what focus under pressure actually feels like.

Yang · Day 4 — The Line

Highlining

A thin line between two points of rock. Everything else falls away.

Yin — integrate

Theatre improv

The social body in real time. Fear of judgment, spontaneity, and connection explored through play.

Yin — integrate

Contact improv & voice work

Move, be moved, and use sound as a portal back into your body.

Yin — integrate

Meditation, breathwork & yoga

Come back into stillness. Let the experiences settle into something lasting.

The architecture of the retreat

01

Exposure

Direct contact with fear in controlled environments. We choose our edge and meet it consciously.

02

Regulation

Increasing our window of tolerance for stress so that it becomes adaptive rather than overwhelming.

03

Space

Sleeping, daydreaming, reflecting, journaling. This stillness is necessary for our minds and bodies to integrate what we've experienced.

04

Connection

This key aspect helps us create and update the narrative of our lives and our capacity to face and handle fear.

Troodos Mountains, Cyprus

River at Kakopetria

The retreat will be held in a beautiful space in the village of Kakopetria in the Troodos mountains of Cyprus. Nestled in the pine-forested Solea Valley, Kakopetria is the meeting point of the Karkotis and Garillis rivers. Flowing water, stone paths, old trees, and crisp mountain air make it the perfect location to explore and expand.

We'll be camping on-site, sharing plant-based meals prepared by a private chef, taking cold dips in the river, and sitting around fire circles under the mountain sky. The time between the workshops, the mornings before anyone is fully awake, and the slow hours after dinner, are as much a part of the retreat as the programme itself. Our space isn't just a backdrop. It holds the community in which everything unfolds.

Indoor accommodation is also available on request for an additional fee. Get in touch by email or DM on Instagram to arrange this.

You don't need to be fearless. Just curious.

Open level

No prior experience needed in movement, meditation, or anything else. You do need to be comfortable with some basic physical activity: light climbing, walking on uneven ground, getting in the water. If you're unsure, just reach out.

Experienced movers welcome

If you already have an established movement practice, bring it. The work meets you where you are.

Curious about fear

If you've ever felt that fear has been making decisions for you, and you want to do something about it, this retreat is designed for exactly that moment.

Ready to be part of something

A big part of this retreat is the collective experience: shared meals, shared challenges, shared space. People consistently describe the group dynamic as one of the most unexpected and valuable parts of the week.

FAQs

What should I bring?

Essentials:
Camping equipment & bedding • Water bottle & daily toiletries • Clothing suitable for outdoor movement (layers for mountain evenings) • Swimwear • Journal (recommended)

A full kit list will be sent after registration.

Do I need prior experience in movement or meditation?

No. This retreat is genuinely open level. You do need to be comfortable with some basic physical activity: light climbing, walking on uneven ground, getting in the water. The activities are graded and nothing is forced. You always work at your own edge.

Is camping the only accommodation option?

Camping on-site is the default and is included in the retreat price. Indoor accommodation is also available on request for an additional fee. Get in touch when you register to discuss this.

What is included in the price?

All sessions, workshops, and activities; communal plant-based meals and packed lunches on activity days; transport during the retreat between the base and all activity locations; camping accommodation; fire circles and evening programming. Flights to Cyprus are not included.

What is the food like?

All meals are plant-based and cooked communally on-site. Packed lunches are provided on activity days. There are shops accessible during the retreat if you want to pick up anything additional.

Is this physically demanding?

Some activities involve real physical engagement. Cliff jumping, rock climbing, and highlining are genuinely challenging. The programme is designed so that every participant works at their own level, and the yin sessions provide real recovery time between the more intense days.

What if I have a specific phobia or anxiety?

The retreat is not clinical therapy. If you are working with significant anxiety or trauma, please get in touch before registering so we can have a conversation about whether this is the right fit for you.

How many people will be there?

Places are deliberately limited to maintain the quality of the group experience. Get in touch for current availability.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the retreat start date are eligible for a full refund minus a €50 administrative fee per person. Ticket transfers to another participant are available up to 2 weeks before the retreat, also subject to a €50 admin fee. Full details will be confirmed at the time of purchase.
